About Us

I have built my approach to cattle breeding on a commitment to doing things ethically and properly—from start to finish. My journey began with breeding Braford cattle and becoming actively involved in the Braford Society, where I developed a strong foundation in structural soundness, temperament, and performance-based selection.

Much of this foundation comes from my father, a retired cattle veterinarian, who instilled in me from an early age the importance of animal health, ethical practices, and attention to detail. Those principles continue to guide every aspect of my program today.

With the support of my wife, I have been able to combine practical cattle breeding with her passion for genetics and DNA. Together, we take a balanced and progressive approach, blending hands-on experience with data-driven decision-making to continually refine and improve our breeding program outcomes.

Today, I focus on an embryo transfer program for miniature Highland cattle, utilising my proven Braford females as recipient cows. This allows me to maintain high standards of animal welfare and reproductive success while working toward the long-term improvement of the Miniature Highland breed.

I am driven by a genuine passion for cattle and a commitment to producing animals that are not just smaller, but better—structurally sound, functional, and true to type.
